The Story of Pizza Sprint
From a take-out pizzeria to an industry producing more than 4 million pieces a year.
Pizza Sprint was founded in 1992 in Casalpusterlengo (LO) as a take-out pizzeria for round and pan pizzas.
The idea to open the business came from Morena and Alberto’s determination to create a business that
would stand out from others. In fact, Morena decided to follow her dream and enrolled in a school for
learning the art of baking, and in just 3 months, they opened a store that was immediately a great success.
In the following years, many food businesses began to request Pizza Sprint products to be included
in their list. In 2000, a new and larger production
workshop for artisanal pizza dough was then created in Castiglione d’Adda (LO).
In 2014, the company embarked on an international expansion project that led it to serve several European markets
.
Following the enormous growth recorded during its development path, Pizza Sprint became an
industry in 2017 with more than 90 employees, continuing to ensure the craftsmanship and quality
of its product.
In 2024, the new brand A’Morena was launched, dedicated to the development of the Italian retail market.
Artisan production of pizza bases
One job, one BIG PASSION
Pizza Sprint manufactures pizza bases, topped pizzas, focaccia bases and more, bringing
its own fresh products to large retailers and restaurants in Italy and the rest of Europe.
The company was founded and is still run by the Spizzi family. Born from the intuition of Morena
and Alberto, who started out as a take-out pizzeria until today, with their son Francesco who
extends his parents’ vision and guides Pizza Sprint in a project of further expansion
internationally, seizing the opportunities presented by new markets. Craftsmanship is the
added value that has always distinguished all our products over the years and will continue to do so
in the future.
